Seeking Knowledge to Revive Islam

Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allāh have mercy on him, said:

Whoever seeks [Islamic] knowledge to revive Islam thereby is from among the ṣiddīqīn,¹ his rank directly below the rank of Prophethood.

¹the most-truthful, closest followers of the prophets and the highest in level with Allāh after them (TR)
