Question:
Do good deeds vary between themselves, meaning, if we have two actions of worship, one is more difficult than the other and it is affirmed that they both have the same amount of reward, so does a Muslim get the same reward for both of them?
The Answer:
The reward is not due to the difficulty, the reward is due to the intention and sincerity to Allaah -Azza wa Jal.
That a person is sincere to Allaah in an action whether it is difficult or not. It is upon him to make his intention sincerely for Allaah Azza wa Jal – this is where the reward is.
