In the Light of Certain Events

The shaikh, Dr. Muḥammad ibn Ghālib Al-ʿUmarī, may Allāh protect him, said:

The occurrence of [certain] events makes it evident [that] many people are in need of [Islamic] knowledge; of correct fatwas; of knowing [about] constants and understanding variables.

Ignorance turns good things into evil and evil things into good; the ignorant go against the scholars; the lowly, worthless ones speak out; emotional slogans are raised high; and war is waged against the evidences of truth.

A person of the truth must not then despair, nor allow the assault of falsehood to take him off the right track he’s on, for the eventual end of falsehood is [its] disappearance, and its appearance is [already the beginning of its] breakdown.

And Allāh will bring His light [and religion] out to completion, and He is ever in aid of His awliyāʾ.¹

{وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ}

But most of mankind do not have knowledge.
