If It Feels Like a Burden…

Imām Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allāh have mercy on him, said:

To the degree a slave [of Allāh] desires this present life and is pleased with it, does he find obeying Allāh and seeking the Hereafter, [a greater] burden to himself.
