Hizbis Cling to Stubborn Wrongdoers, No Matter What Evil They Have Done | Shaikh Ahmad Al-Najmi

The great scholar, Aḥmad ibn Yaḥyá Al-Najmī, may Allāh have mercy on him, said:
When there appears from someone upon the salafī way–from those affiliating themselves to it–something in contradiction [to that], [salafīs] advise him. Then, if he refuses to come back to the truth, they reject him and leave him; they denounce him and cut him off from the salafī body like a limb that had become rotten, so that the one to whom it belonged had to amputate it in order to preserve the rest of [his] body.
As for those belonging to ḥizbiyyāt [sectarian groups], they give consideration to individuals and how great in number they are: it’s their loot. So whoever is with them, they don’t leave him; they don’t reject him; they don’t denounce him–whatever he may have done–proclaiming that the gains are [in having] people.
This is in contradiction to true Islāmic foundational principle, [since] the foundational principle Allāh has established for His slaves is to put religious benefits before worldly [ones].
