From Abū Mālik Al-Anṣārī, may Allāh be pleased with him, that the Messenger ﷺ said:

Four things [remain] among my ummah, [the Muslim people], that stem from [the Great Period of] Ignorance [that preceded Islam], that they, [as a whole], will not abandon:

• Boasting or feeling superior to others for things a person sees he has that [might] give him higher status than theirs;
• finding fault or putting others down due to their parentage or lineage;
• thinking the stars have an effect in bringing about rain;
• and wailing over the dead.
